Ruth Rask

. It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Marie Rask, Saturday, March 16, 2017. Ruth is survived by her sister in law, her cousins and her nieces and nephews. Born on August 6, 1931 to Joseph Robert Rask and Mary Barolak Rask, Ruth grew up in Youngstown, Ohio with her brother Robert Joseph, her half-brother Chester, her cousin Arnold and later, her step-mother, Lella Wright. In her youth, Ruth had a passion for horseback riding. She graduated from Boardman High School and took a position of executive assistant for the State of Ohio, Bureau of Employment Services. She traveled little and was undeniably outspoken, but throughout her adult life, Ruth lived her life to the fullest, surrounded by a group of faithful friends. The Rask family would like to thank Kindred Healthcare, Euclid, Ohio and also express our profound appreciation to Ruth’s friend VH, who lovingly watched over Ruth for the last 15 years. There are truly angels among us.. A service will be held on Friday April 5th 2019, in The Greens of Lyndhurst at 10:00 am..
