Donald Anzells

Donald John Anzells, known affectionately as Don, peacefully departed this earthly realm on September 6, 2023, at the age of 93 in Mentor, Ohio. He was born on March 11, 1930, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John and Pauline Anzells.

Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, where he forged unbreakable bonds and exemplified unwavering dedication to his military associations.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Marcia Anzells (Nee Fleming), who stood by his side through the joys and challenges of life. Don's legacy lives on through his loving children, Lynn Lemmo (Tony), Ronald Anzells (Kathy Nee Fazekas), and his daughter-in-law Beverly Anzells (Nee Tucci). He also leaves behind a cherished lineage of eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, who will forever carry his spirit in their hearts.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, his son Steven Anzells, and his dear brother Kenneth Anzells. Their souls now find solace in eternal rest, reunited in the embrace of everlasting peace.

Don found solace and strength in his faith, finding a spiritual home at St. Hubert's Episcopal Church. His devotion to his place of worship provided him with comfort and guidance throughout his journey.

A solemn memorial service, honoring Don's life and legacy, will be held on Saturday, September 16, at 10:00 AM at the sacred grounds of St. Hubert's Episcopal Church, located at 8870 Baldwin Road in Kirtland, Ohio. The ceremony will be a testament to the profound impact Don had on the lives of those around him.

In lieu of floral tributes, the family humbly requests that contributions be made to two organizations close to Don's heart.
