Fred Banci

Fred G. Banci, age 93, passed away on Saturday, October 24th, 2020.  He was a faithful husband to his late wife Beverly for 56 years.  Father to daughters Laura (Brian, deceased) and Loretta (Andrew); grandfather to Leah (Robert), Hannah (Jason) and Xiao Jiao; great-grandfather to Lincoln and Winston (Leah/Robert).  Fred was a World War II veteran, who served in the U.S. Navy.  He was an accomplished welder and metal fabricator for 40 years and took pride in his work and provided for his family.  Fred was an avid railroad fan, and volunteered with the Midwest Railway Preservation Society, helping to restore vintage passenger cars.  Spending many of his early years growing up in Rochester, Ohio, he enjoyed frequent visits there later in life visiting old friends.    Private interment only at Lakeview Cemetery. Family requests no flowers.
