Joel Lindstrom

Joel Lindstrom, 69, of South Euclid, Ohio passed away on January 29th, 2023 at the Cleveland Clinic Medical Center surrounded by his close friends and family after a severe heart attack. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio to Glen and Ruth (Widing) Lindstrom on August 18th, 1953. 

His childhood was filled with curiosity and adventure that fueled a love and appreciation for nature. On July 1st, 1982 he was Blessed in Marriage to Megumi Fujita, his wife of 40 years. He was a devoted husband,  father, and grandfather. As Brother Joel, he was instrumental in his Unificationist community in many ways, especially through heartfelt Sunday sermons, playing guitar for various lively gatherings, hosting prayer breakfasts and Bible study sessions, and building interfaith friendships with many types of clergy throughout the greater Cleveland area.Joel is survived by his loving wife, Megumi; four children, Seizan, Grace, Seikai, and Seiji; six grandchildren: Seihi, Hikari, Rinka, Mei, Leo, and Sofia; two older sisters: Christine and Ingrid

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at the Ohio Family Church on Saturday, February 4th from 5:00-6:30 p.m.
