Larry Greene

Larry L Greene of Conneaut Ohio passed away peacefully on April 15,2021
Larry was the son of Garrett & Juanita Greene of West Farmington Ohio n was born February 8 1942 in Warren Ohio
Larry graduated from Farmington High School in 1960 where he excelled in basketball, baseball, track, n having fun times with friends
He was a member of Farmington Methodist Church where he was baptized and active in youth activities
He was a member of 4-H for many years for his love of showing and winning grand championships with his jersey cows
His occupations ranged from dairy farming, to construction, to managing plastics factorys. He could troubleshoot and repair just about any machinery
His love of fishing on Lake Erie led him to be known as "The Minnow Man" on the docks in Conneaut, where he made many life long friends...always enjoying a cup of coffee or an ice cold Bud light!
He also enjoyed hunting and was a private pilot flying his family n friends in his airplanes
He also was a member of the North Kingsville Masonic Lodge where he served as worshipful master
Larry leaves behind his daughter Donna (Roger) n Donna's mother Judy
His son Garrett Greene n Garrett's mother Mary Beth
Grandaughter Kelsey (Ross) n great grandaughter Lydia Rose
His sisters, Linda (Woody) Woodford, Sandy (Ron) Abramovich, Maureen (Fred) Stosik, n Karen (Todd) Murrin
As well as many nieces n nephews , extended family , and many close friends
Preceding him in death was his parents, grandparents, and his brother, William Greene (Julia)
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 22,2021 at Nelson Community House in Garrettsville Oh 44231
a service will be held at 12 noon with Larry's nephew Rev Rob Kantner officiating
Food n celebration of his life will follow
