Madeline Scarniench Obituary

Madeline (Shantery) Scarniench was born on June 24,1948 to Alfred and Jenny Shantery. She went to the Lord on March 29, 2024. Age 75, beloved mother of Michael (Gloria) and John (Jennifer); grandmother of Josh, DJ, Kenny, Julia, Jenna, and Joanna; and sister of Christine (Dawna). Madeline was preceded in death by her parents, her sister JoAnn, and her husband Jerry. She served as a Euclid Councilwoman for many years, as well as a strong advocate for several organizations such as Euclid Pet Pals, EDCOR, Euclid Senior Center, Boy Scouts, Euclid PTA, and many more. She loved spending time with her family and friends, going to Walt Disney World, watching movies, and playing Scrabble. Friends received at Corrigan Deighton Funeral Home, 21900 Euclid Ave. on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 12-3 and 5-7; Mass of a Christian burial at St. John of the Cross, 140 Richmond Rd. on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 10:30 A.M. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Euclid Pet Pals, 25100 Lakeland Blvd., Euclid, OH 4413
